To work with large data sets in a comfortable way, use the Freeze Panes option. It allows to lock several rows on the top and columns on the left so that they remain visible when you scroll the spreadsheet down or right.
To freeze panes:
- double-tap the cell located below the row you want to lock and to the right of the column you want to lock,
- tap the More option from the pop-up menu,
- select the Freeze panes menu item.
After that a horizontal line appears above the selected cell and a vertical line appears to the left of the selected cell. The areas above and to the left of these lines are locked.
To unlock previously frozen rows and columns:
- double-tap any cell within the worksheet,
- tap the More option from the pop-up menu,
- select the Unfreeze panes menu item.
