Installing ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors using online installer

You can install the application using the step-by-step wizard with the ability to view each step and modify some settings if necessary.

Run the online-installer.exe file.

The online installer window will open.

Click the Install button.

The installer will download the necessary version of the application depending on the Windows version installed on your computer.

Once the download is completed, the installation wizard will start and guide you through the installation steps.

Select the language and click OK.

Click Next.

Accept the license agreement and click Next.

Uncheck the box if you do not want to create the shortcut on your desktop and click Next.

Read info about file associations and click Next.

Click Install and wait while the installation process is completed.

Check the Open Default apps option if you want to adjust file associations.

The Launch ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors box is checked by default to launch the application after closing the wizard window.

Click the Finish button.

Alternatively, you can install the application in the background mode without the necessity to confirm each step.

Run the online-installer.exe file, check the Silent installation box and click the Install button.

The installer will download the necessary version of the application depending on the Windows version installed on your computer.

Once the download is completed, the installation process will be launched automatically.

When the installation is completed, check the Launch box if you want to run the installed application and click the Close button.

If the ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors application is already installed, you can use the online installer to update, repair or uninstall the application.

Run the online-installer.exe file.

Check one of the necessary options:

• Update – to update the application to the latest version.
• Repair – to fix the application if it is not running correctly.

  You can also check the Clear cached data and Clear user setting boxes if necessary.

• Uninstall – to remove the application from your computer.

  You can also check the Clear user setting and cached data box if necessary.

Click the Apply button and wait while the selected operation is completed.
